Week 1

Back to school again, very excited to excel the class this time around. I reviewed this year's academic schedule for media studies and I am confident to ace it.

Week 2
The class and I discussed in depth about power of media and media regulation, also reviewing crime documentaries for insights of what it's like. Me and my group made two posters about social media regulations.

Week 3
My team and I finished our statement of intent for the crime documentary project, and we have planned the possible locations of the shoot, also the plot of our crime documentary has been made set. The class went in depth about media regulation, which include a new theory, the livingstone and lunt theory, casestudies like TikTok regulation, and how the law or the government iinterven.

To-Do:
- Location Scout with team
- Create storyboard(s)

Week 4
This week we finalize our storyboard and finish the risk assesment and location scouting. The class starts to learn about the media and power.

To-Do:
- Shooting documentary

Week 5
My group and I started a script + storyboard blog post, as well as a filming schedule for throughout the project timeline.

Self-Reflection:
The weekly progress & plan is only useful when used correctly, and I happen to not focus that much on the writing the progress and plan, so it wasn't as useful to me. I was still able to keep track on my work and progress, without fully utilizing this tracker.
